Join It's Starter plan is $29 a month, and Veldun's is $99. On top of the processor's own fee, Join It takes a service fee on online payments: 3% on Starter, 2% on Total and 1.5% on Extra. That fee grows with every dues payment and ticket you sell.
Veldun charges one flat monthly price and takes nothing from any payment. Members pay into your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rate of 2.9% plus 30 cents, with no surcharge. So the more dues your association collects in renewal season, the more of that money stays with you.
On Join It Starter, 3% of each online payment goes to Join It. On Veldun, that share is nothing.
Veldun takes nothing from dues, however much you collect.
Put your site on your own domain
Join It includes a membership website builder on every plan. Your own domain, and removing Join It's branding, come with Extra at $199 a month. On its lower plans, the site carries Join It's branding.
Every Veldun plan puts the site on your association's own domain, and Veldun builds the site for you. An admin asks for changes in plain words, and Veldun shows a preview before anything goes live. So your association looks like a professional body from $99 a month, and nobody on the board builds pages.

Join It suits a small association that takes few online payments and is happy to build its own site with Join It's builder. With little money moving, the service fee stays small, and the $29 Starter plan costs less than Veldun.
Once dues and ticket sales grow, the sums change. A percentage of each payment rises with every renewal, while Veldun's price stays flat. If your association collects most of its dues online, or wants a site built for it, you keep more of that money on Veldun.
